The dinner at Fukuichi Restaurant on Friday, March 11, in support of Goducate’s Sabah Literacy Centers went very well.It was certainly the best sponsorship event that Goducate has ever had!

When the owners of Fukuichi Restaurant offered to sponsor 20 special dinners for Goducate, we were hoping to receive about $3000. Then when Dr Leslie Tay of ieatishootipost.sg was invited to join in the discussions, we thought that we could aim for 80 diners and a target of about $8000.

However, when you offered to have MHC Asia’s CSR program match a dollar for every dollar received, the whole atmosphere was charged up. It was a brilliant strategic move that helped the amount accumulated for Goducate to reach $43000!

Diners and Goducate friends realized that their sponsorship would be doubled and therefore contributed much more generously than they would have normally done.

Dr Low, you shared with me how you started MHC to level the playing field for solo GPs to allow them to see corporate clients through a network of clinics linked up with the internet. You have shown how your brilliant mind can be used, not only to help solo GPs and "make health connect" for patients, GPs, specialists, and insurance companies, but also for needy Asians!

With this $43k sponsorship we hope to begin our ambitious expansion from our present 13 Literacy Centers in Sabah to 100!
