MHC Launches iPhone and Android Clinic Locator App (MHC Clinic Network)

MHC Asia Group Launches iPhone App – MHC Clinic Network.

Singapore, 10 Jan 2011 – MHC Asia Group’s (MHC) corporate clients will be able to locate panel clinics on the go with their iPhones and Android Smartphones, thanks to the launch of the MHC Clinic Network app.

Available free in the App store and Android Market place, MHC Clinic Network is a comprehensive guide to MHC’s network of more than 868 panel clinics in Singapore, including dental clinics and specialists.

The key feature of the app is the Clinic Locator – exclusive only to MHC’s clients. By keying in their NRIC number, users can make use of the GPS capability to locate a clinic near them at any time. Depending on each individual’s preferences, the search can also be filtered by distance, type of clinics or districts.

“It is important to keep the app simple and well-designed. The focus is geared very much towards customers’ needs and usability. Our team will strive for continuous improvement based on any feedback received,” said Mr Edmund Cheh, App Architect of Appsolutrends Pte Ltd, who collaborates with MHC on developing technology-friendly applications for its customers and stakeholders.

The app also comes with a handy guide for public users on the latest news for health information, jokes & inspirational health quotes compiled by MHC, and a collection of health-related videos for viewing – both entertaining and educational.

Since the launch on 4 January 2011, customers have found it useful.
