Are Eggs Bad for You?

There are ways to have good health and ways to feel liberated from ill health. How do you do it and what do you do to have all the benefits of good health? The first thing is to learn how to nag yourself to do things, like exercise and eating right. These aren’t things that come naturally to everyone so a bit of nagging to get you on the right path to excellent health are probably necessary.

Learn to talk in affirmations to yourself. Say things that will promote you to lead a path of wellness at all times. Say positive affirmations even if you don’t believe them, especially at the beginning, because eventually, they will sink in and change your behaviors. Some believe that by saying things out loud, you are able to expand your aura and you’ll feel better about yourself. Your self confidence can be greatly improved by affirmations. Say things like “I know I can handle it”, “I can…”, “I have an opportunity…” and other great phrases to start your day.

One glass a day of wine or champagne will protect your heart against heart disease. Even a can of beer or 1.5 ounces of hard liquor a day can protect the heart. Some believe that red wine works the best because it contains a heart protective chemical called resveratrol. Alcohol of any kind gets rid of LDL cholesterol and increases HDL cholesterol, which is the good kind of cholesterol. You need to stick to one to two drinks per day. Purple grape juice also contains resveratrol so you can switch to that after your prerequisite one to two drinks of alcohol per day. Don’t drink at all if you’re pregnant.

Lower your caloric intake. This cuts down on the oxygen you need for digestion and decreases the number of free radicals your body needs to get rid of. Oxidative damage can cause heart disease and cancer.

Workouts should train your body but you shouldn’t overdo it. This is because you can do damage to your muscles and can create oxygen free radicals if you overdo your exercise. It doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t exercise at all because the benefits of moderate exercise far outweigh the risks.

Bad habits, such as binge eating and smoking, should be gotten rid of. Smoking sends large amounts of bad chemicals into your system, including carbon monoxide. Too much alcohol, in addition, gets rid of your body’s stores of beta-carotene and vitamin E. This is what leads to liver damage and cirrhosis of the liver.

Let your lungs breathe in clean air. Find a quiet place with clean fresh air, like by a lake or ocean, or in a forest, and leave pollution behind. Inhale the clean good air as a life prolonging measure. Don’t forget to eat breakfast every day.
